The ACS-2K, C is an algae cultivation platform designed for growing microalgae outdoors in-the-field. It is built for cold weather applications and comes assembled with-in the confines of a modified 53-ft ISO shipping container. It’s insulated, fully automated and includes an electric boiler heating system, fresh air ventilation and a low energy submersible LED lighting system. The platform consists of a single 2,000 liters, 2m3 photobioreactor (PBR) trough, CO2 cylinder holding station, water-gas- mixing – media prebatching system, biomass harvest and process logic control system. Its also shippable by standard transport truck, train or boat.
