The ACS-42K, CCRS is designed to operate in sunbelt regions using only natural lighting. It also has the option for using LED lighting to stimulate algae growth 24/7, 365 days per year, improving productivity both in sunbelt and enabling algae growth in other regions. The optional LED lighting includes a novel surface mounted, low energy, high efficiency NANO LED lighting technology that is AI capability (Artificial Intelligence).
The ACS-42K is weatherized and unaffected by daily or seasonal climate/weather changes and also insusceptible to extreme weather events. It has a media capacity of 42,000 liters (42m3) per module and its scales by simply coupling additional modules together.
A single agitation motor drives up to four modules, making scaling achievable without any significant increase in energy demand.
The ACS-42K cultivation biofield™ comes fully automated and consist of three modular units. The Head Control Module (HCM) houses the PLC and Water-Gas-Mixing-Unit (WGMU), which is used for pre-batching the growth media.
The Algae Cultivation Module (ACM) houses the PBR trough. The Harvesting and Separation Module (HSM) contains the equipment for harvesting and separating the algae biomass. It also houses the treated water final filtration and sanitization system.
The HCM and HSM can be configured to support up to four ACM modules, (4 x 42m3 = 168,000 liters) should expansion of the cultivation biofield™ be necessary. The 42m3 PBR trough is built on a skid frame and the cultivation biofield™ can be assembled outside in warmer climates, or inside a green-house or warehouse.
